INCOLN, NE – September 24, 2026 – HTI Plastics, a leading custom injection molding and contract manufacturing company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Matt Dageforde as Director of Engineering.
In his new role, Dageforde will oversee all engineering functions at HTI Plastics, providing leadership across product development, design engineering, manufacturing engineering, process development, tooling, project management, and engineering support for customers and internal manufacturing operations.
Dageforde will lead HTI’s engineering team as the company continues to expand its technical capabilities and strengthen its engineering-driven approach to custom injection molding. His responsibilities will include supporting new product development, improving manufacturability, optimizing manufacturing processes, and helping customers navigate the transition from product concept and design through tooling and production.

Strengthening HTI’s Engineering-Driven Approach
Engineering is a critical component of HTI Plastics’ manufacturing process. The company’s engineering team works with customers throughout the product lifecycle, from early-stage concepts and prototyping through design for manufacturability, tooling, process development, validation, and production.
HTI’s engineering capabilities include CAD and product development, mold-flow analysis, finite element analysis, rapid prototyping, process development, scientific molding, and design for manufacturability. The company also maintains an in-house tool room, allowing engineering and tooling teams to work closely together throughout the development and production process.
As Director of Engineering, Dageforde will oversee these engineering functions and work closely with HTI’s sales, operations, quality, and production teams to ensure engineering remains closely aligned with customer requirements and manufacturing objectives.

Dageforde’s appointment comes as HTI continues to invest in its people, technology, and manufacturing capabilities. The company operates a state-of-the-art injection molding facility in Lincoln, Nebraska, with more than 30 injection molding machines ranging from 30 to 1,800 tons, in-house engineering and tooling, automation, and secondary manufacturing capabilities.
